July 14, 2011 The Weekly Star staff writer Mr. Lafayette C. Hight Jr. article "Senior artists show paintings". Mr. Hight interview several artists that had there painting on display. They are students of KT Boyce’s adult acrylic / oil painting class at the Arcadia Community Center. When he spoke with Mr. Burma Brown he found that he is a retiree of the phone company and always had a passion for the arts. Mr. Brown told him that he has sold one of his paintings and had offers for another. “ I don’t know if they were being kind but I’m going to take that means that I’m marketable”.
